Why Tithe?
- It provides for God's house.
- It conveys that I trust God.
- It expands boundaries in my life for God to fill.
- It reminds me that I am not my source.
- It connects my money to a Kingdom purpose.
- It gives my job eternal significance.
- It transforms my money into a seed.
- It breaks greed and self-reliance off my heart.
- It let's everything else in my life know that God is first.
- The tithe is not generosity; it is obedience.
- I am indebted to God because of His radical generosity towards me.
- I will be obedient with that which He has freely entrusted to me.
- Money, the stock market, some politician is not my source or savior. God is my source! Therefore, I will sow my seed into the one who provides for all my needs - in order to increase His Kingdom on earth.
- I will tithe because I need Him to open the windows of Heaven over my life.
- I refuse to be disobedient because of my lack of trust in God's provision. I will give my first and best to God.
